A Little Planning for a Wonderful Day

We're looking forward to welcoming you to the Black Hills for The Yoga Gathering!

Whether you're traveling from across South Dakota or making a weekend of it from farther away, we want your visit to feel easy and enjoyable.

Here's a little information to help you plan your stay, prepare for the day, and arrive ready to gather.

Dry Camping Near the Gathering

A very limited number of dry camping spots will be available just down the road from the venue at Scottie's home.

This is a simple option for guests who would enjoy camping close to the gathering. These spots are limited and will need to be arranged in advance.

What To Bring

A little preparation will help you settle in and enjoy the day. Here's your gathering checklist!

For Your Yoga Practice

  • Your yoga mat

  • Any props you enjoy using, such as blocks, straps, or a bolster

  • A yoga blanket or extra layer for relaxation

  • Comfortable clothing for movement

  • Layers in case the temperature changes

For Your Day

  • A reusable water bottle

  • A favorite mug, if you'd like one (we'll have cups and tea available, too!)

  • Sunscreen and anything else you might need for a summer day

  • An open mind and a little curiosity!

Lunch

Lunch will be a little midday pause in our schedule. You can select an optional box lunch during registration or bring your own lunch to enjoy during the break.

We'll have water, tea, and refreshments available throughout the day.
